What are you and your $ waiting for_

Jose Salcedo is a Senior Account Executive at Visio Lending and primarily focuses on closing deals with brokers and helping investors finance single-family rental properties through exceptional and honest customer service. In a sit down with Jose, he shares some of his knowledge and personal advice. "It's never too early to start investing," he stresses.  However, the contrary holds true as well. It's never too late to start investing, if you have not begun.

As a seasoned investor, Jose tells others not to wait, emphasizing he wishes he began earlier. That's because through the effect of compounding, you can generate some great returns. He also notes that once you contribute, you must commit and let that momentum drive you to build on more contributions.

Here are some additional tips from Jose:

  • You are never too busy to invest. Discover what you believe in and set aside the time to research and learn.
  • "You will hit some red lights, and that is all part of the process." When investing, you will lose money, so be prepared and ready to learn from your mistakes and continually improve your investment strategy.
  • Young investors should take note of the state of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Although the cryptocurrency market can be volatile, the blockchain technology shows some promising capabilities that are worth looking into.
  • "Understand the difference between what your job is and what it earns you, and what your money can earn for you."
