The good news for home sellers that smart home technology is an affordable and easy upgrade that will make your property stand out. Here are the smart products buyers say they would prefer preinstalled and their estimated cost:

  • 77% want smart thermostats ($74-$219 on Amazon)
  • 75% want smart fire detectors ($49-$250)
  • 66% want smart carbon monoxide detectors ($150+)
  • 63% want smart locks preinstalled ($130+)
  • 63% want smart lighting ($16.99+)
